Our Story:
Our Book Box / Toy Box is handiest piece of kids’ furniture in our house.
We are a lot about helping children play as independently and happily as possible, as well as us as adults loving the design and versatility of the furniture and play products around us.
Our boy has used his Book & Toy box since he received it as our first DIY product at age 9 months, and now he (2.5 years old) and his sister (15 months) keep over half their collection of accessible small toys and books in it. It’s a piece of furniture that holds almost everything they most enjoy, while also keeping us accountable to living minimally and routinely and easily looking through their collections for what is and isn’t used.
It’s perfect to store babies’ toys, books, and blankets … and then to grow with your child to include bigger books, bigger toys, musical instruments etc.
We often use the handy space underneath ours at home to store big items – mainly our box of DUPLO. It slides out easily from underneath, and then gets tucked away again.
